7 Tips Today That You Can Use Tomorrow: Brain Gain and Disease Prevention

Which ones will you all try today?

  1. Drink 2 glasses of water first thing in the morning & sip it all day. Drink liquids without foods. Drink half your weight in ounces a day.
  2. Take flaxseed oil daily in capsules or liquid. Usually it is 1 tablespoon per 50 lbs. of weight or about 6 capsules a day. Eat fish at least 2 times week.
  3. Do the Clock Exercise at the same time as the Cross Crawl. Raise alternating legs and slap the opposite thigh while looking at the numbers around an imaginary clock and humming at the same time. This will balance both sides of your brain.
  4. Drink 2 cups of green tea daily. It has more vitamin E than anything else. Eat 7 to 9 fruits & vegetables a day and “juice.”
  5. Get 15 to 20 minutes of daylight daily, on rainy days too. Walking for that
  6. amount of time helps food digest & increases vitamin D. Open the window
  7. in your car. That will work!
  8. Use the computer daily or take a course and learn about something new.
  9. Join a book club, do puzzles, go to a lecture and sing with a group or in the
  10. car or shower. Everyone else does!
  11. Have FAITH that everything happens for a reason. It will work out.
  12. Let fear find another body and brain to live in, not yours!
